FULLERTON ARBORETUM
For perfect garden engagement photos, think Fullerton Arboretum. Three16 Photography will capture your intimate Fullerton Arboretum Engagement Photos located on the grounds of Cal State Fullerton, which is conveniently located just off the 57 freeway next to the Fullerton Titan baseball field. The arboretum has been around since the 1970s and it offers photo opportunities that you won’t typically get at a park. Who wouldn't love it here as the Botanical Gardens are simply stunning.
Some of the advantages of shooting your engagement photos here is that it has year-round flowers in full bloom, unlike a park where you might see flowers dying off outside of the spring season. The Fullerton Arboretum also has a variety of natural settings that serve as amazing backdrops. This would include: bamboo, cactus, large trees, beautiful fields of flowers and a couple of small ponds, which make for a nice atmosphere.
As great as it is, there are some negatives to take into consideration. The biggest issue is that they are only open until 4:30pm each day. In many cases that is not an issue, however, if you were hoping for some sunset shots here, we will have to do it in the latter part of the fall until the mid-way point of winter. Other than that, the sun doesn’t go down until well after closing time. You can for sure forget about the summer time. Also, if you are a dog lover and you really want your dog involved, the Fullerton Arboretum does not allow for dogs on the premises.
