Some locations can be super crowded.  While a session at the beach, a popular park or Disneyland can be great, it may not be ideal for you.

Do you love nature?  Did you go to a fair on your first date?  While a beautiful garden might be fun for some, maybe it isn't the perfect location for you.

WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION LOCATION:

discovering los Angeles county engagement locations:

MAlaga cove plaza

If you are looking for a hidden gem to have your engagement photos session taken at, one that encompasses architecture, scenery, hiking trails and the beach, Malaga Cove Plaza might just be the location for you. Malaga Cove Plaza Engagement Photos in Palos Verdes Estates by Three16 Photography will leave you lasting memories of your special moment together.

The Malaga Cove Plaza is made up of commercial buildings with that “Mediterranean Revival” look and feel to it. It includes brick and stucco exterior walls, wood and metal windows, terra cotta tile roofing, beautiful archways, corridors, balconies, foliage all around and brick grounds and stairs. One of the unique features is the statue of King Neptune at the Neptune Fountain. This statue has some really nice-looking features that will bring uniqueness to your engagement photos. Originally built in 1930 at two-thirds the size larger than today’s statue, the one that is currently at the Plaza was installed in 1969.

Located up on a hill, the scenery below is breathtaking. Especially the Pacific Ocean as it reaches Malaga Cove at Rat Beach.

If time permits for a second location, Rat Beach is located less than a mile away from Malaga Cove Plaza and we can get some beach photos that would contrast those from the Plaza. Other locations could include Malaga Dunes, Malaga Creek or Frog Creek, all located a mile and a half away or closer.

One other cool thing about Malaga Cove Plaza is that in October 2021 it was announced that the Malaga Cove Plaza was named to the National Register of Historic Places. So, not only is this a gem, but it’s also historic as well.

So, if you are looking for a location that has a little of everything for your engagement photos, then you might want to consider the Malaga Cove Plaza.
