When people talk about “wine country” or great wineries in California, the nation thinks about the Napa Valley area as it often highlighted in many travel and food cooking television shows. However, if you live or spent any time in Southern California, you will know that the city of Temecula is home to a slew of wineries that are just as equal to their counterparts up north. Three16 Photography loves shooting Temecula Valley photography at all the various wedding & engagement locations and wineries. We serve the Inland Empire, as well as Orange County and all of Los Angeles.

Temecula is located in the southern end of the Inland Empire, not too far from the start of San Diego County. In addition to the wineries, Temecula is home to Pechanga Resort & Casino and is within a short drive of many other casinos in Lake Elsinore and northern San Diego County areas. If you have a chance to spend time in Temecula away from the wineries, we recommend Old Town Temecula where you go back in time and the food is amazing. But, let’s face it, Temecula is known mostly for their wineries.

As for wedding venues, here are some of our favorite locations that we recommend:
Ponte Winery, Wiens Family Cellars, Peltzer Winery, Galway Downs, Europa Village, Mount Palomar Winery and the Temecula Creek Inn. Additional wineries include Miramonte Winery, Wilson Creek Winery, Baily Vineyard, Briar Rose Winery and Carter Estate Winery and Resort. There are many other great locations to also check out.

The way we see it, Temecula Valley is a hidden jewel to the outside world, but to those familiar with it, it’s a slice of Heaven as there is a lot to do, have a lot of fun and it all makes for great photography. We highly recommend checking out Temecula Valley as a potential location for your engagement session as well as a wedding venue. If you are looking for wedding venue in this area, then we invite you to look through some of the locations on our Wedding Venue page.
