Some locations can be super crowded. While a session at the beach, a popular park or Disneyland can be great, it may not be ideal for you.

Do you love nature? Did you go to a fair on your first date? While a beautiful garden might be fun for some, maybe it isn't the perfect location for you.

As seasons shift so does temperature, sunset times, foliage and crowds. Not all locations are a great choice year round.

Downtown Los Angeles is so full of unique architecture and stories behind the scenes of what we know of LA today. It is truly a fascinating city. So, when we get the chance that someone wants their engagement photo session in the downtown part of LA versus outside the city, we jump on it. One such amazing building that we enjoy is the Bradbury Building. Bradbury Building Los Angeles engagement photos by Three16 Photography will bring you joyful photographs that will last a lifetime.
Sitting on the corner of S. Broadway and W. 3rd Street, the Bradbury Building is one of the oldest remaining commercial buildings still standing in the downtown area after it’s opening back in 1893. From the outside, it just looks like a large brick building, but the inside is remarkable. The design includes thin walkways with a Victorian era design, one that is chock full of unique features that will really make your engagement photos standout. The elevators are open caged, the railings are made of iron and the stairs were made out of marble.
In addition to its design, the Bradbury became a National Historical Landmark back in 1977 and has appeared in many movies over the years, including Blade Runner, Lethal Weapon 4, and the 2011 Oscar Award winning film, The Artist. Having your engagement photo session at this unique facility would really enhance your photo experience.
For those of you looking to do engagement shots at multiple locations, the proximity that the Bradbury has with other nearby locations can make that possible. Grand Central Market, the Omni Los Angeles Hotel, The Museum of Contemporary Art, and The Broad are just a few in a market filled with opportunities.
So, if you are looking for an urban-like feel to your engagement photos, and to add a touch of vintage nostalgia to your photos, then you might want to consider the Bradbury Building.
