Being a Los Angeles County wedding photographer, we see ourselves as storytellers sharing your incredible story with generations to come and not just capturing a few photographs. There are many important moments in life, but only very few of those will compare to your wedding day.
At Three16 Photography, we set our standards high, and that’s something you should come to expect that from us as well. Although our hours of coverage will vary depending on your needs, over the years, our clients will typically book us for 8-10 hours. This is ample time to cover the bride and groom getting ready, ceremony details, family portraits, wedding party photos, romantics with the bride and groom and the formalities of the reception. From that we will usually deliver an average of 75-100 photos per hour of photography coverage.
Some of the typical questions we often get include:
Q: Can we see your wedding albums and how recent are they? We create a new in-house wedding album to show clients on an annual basis and typically will only keep the last four years’ worth. They are located in our offices but if you cannot meet us here, we can show you the albums via the camera on a Zoom session or share with you a recent gallery.
Q: If you have not worked at our wedding venue before, do you visit it beforehand? We have shot weddings at many venues, but in the event your venue is new to us, we typically us Google satellites and zoom in to get an idea of what we are working with and then we always get to the venue early to our scheduled time to get another look at the venue. There has never been an issue with that in the past, but if a client requires us to visit the venue prior to the day of the event, we would be happy to schedule a visit with the venue personnel and review the venue.
Q: What information do you need from us before the wedding day? We’ll go over that information either during the consultation or on our first visit after booking us. Besides the basics such as vendor information and scheduling, the item we like to have in hand is a list of photos and with whom you want in those photos ahead of time. Again, we will discuss this as well when we meet.
Q: Where can I read reviews about Three16 Photography? We would love to invite you to view our reviews as we are proud of the work we do. There are reviews across the internet, but the big three include our website (see our Reviews page here), Google (see Reviews here) or Yelp (see Reviews here).
Q: What time will you arrive at the venue and what time will you stay until? Depending on your package will determine the arrival and exit times. We will be happy to discuss this with you in our meeting.
Q: Do you allow other people (guests) to take photos while you are taking pictures as well? During the ceremony it is our wish that guests have their cell phones and/or cameras put away. Nothing distracts from the professional photography of your ceremony than a guest with their arms in the air taking photos at the same time. You made a solid investment in your photography; you will want the best photos possible. Sometimes, it also becomes a safety issue when a guest is trying to get a good shot, and they cause the photographer to trip and fall. During the reception, we say the sky is the limit. Guests… have fun taking pictures!!
With every wedding there is a beautiful story to be told, and our desire is to tell a story that is fun, romantic and timeless.
