Your outfit should reflect you personality. Maybe you want to dress for an adventure or maybe you want to go formal. Consider how your attire can fit with your session location.

Some locations can be super crowded. While a session at the beach, a popular park or Disneyland can be great, it may not be ideal for you.

Do you love nature? Did you go to a fair on your first date? While a beautiful garden might be fun for some, maybe it isn't the perfect location for you.

As seasons shift so does temperature, sunset times, foliage and crowds. Not all locations are a great choice year round.

One of the reasons we really love shooting Orange County engagement photography is all the different type of locations we can shoot at. Orange County offers such locations such as the coastal areas, old towns, modern buildings, sporting venues and many parks. If you are looking for the typical park, the kind with fresh cut grass, soccer and baseball fields, and of course a recreational area with a lake, then stay in the city and check out Ted Craig Regional Park. A Craig Regional Park Engagement Photo Session by Three16 Photography adds a touch of naturesque backgrounds to your photographs.
Opened back in 1974, Craig Park is a short drive from Cal State Fullerton, the Fullerton Arboretum and across the street from the Brea Mall off the 57 freeway. It is definitely not tucked away and out of sight.
For your engagement photography, Craig Park is ideal if you would like to include any children or other family members as this is truly a family style park.
With Craig Park you get many rolling hills so what would make for some great photos would be if you were riding bikes on the sidewalk or sitting on a park bench together. There are many trees there, but they are a bit spread out, so you lose out on that forest feeling.
Casual wear is probably the best way to go with a Craig Regional Park engagement photo shoot, but at the same time there are plenty of other options to consider.
So, if a traditional park within the city is what you have in mind for your engagement photo shoot, then you should consider Craig Regional Park engagement photos as your destination.
