WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION LOCATION:

DISNEYLAND
One of the reasons we really love shooting Orange County engagement photography is all the different type of locations we can shoot at. Orange County offers such locations such as the coastal areas, old towns, urban areas, modern buildings, sporting venues and many parks. But, if you are looking for something truly special and unique compared to the traditional locations, Three16 Photography will photograph your Disneyland Engagement Photo Session at either Disneyland Park or Disneyland Resort. Having Disneyland Engagement Photos taken by Three16 Photography will add a touch of that Disney magic to your engagement photography session.
Ask yourself, “why not Disney?” After all, it is the “Happiest Place on Earth”. There are many opportunities here that you cannot get at the beach or a park, and if you have a creative side, you can plan out shots based on the various rides.
However, if you are considering having your engagement photos taken at Disneyland, there are some real drawbacks you need to consider before committing to it, and we are not just talking about pricing.
Some of the challenges include:
***Due to the number of guests visiting the park, it is near impossible to get shots without anyone in the background. Now Disney does offer a sunrise session, which will allow us in the park up to two hours before the park opens, but it can be pretty costly. Contact Disneyland regarding a sunrise session.
***We are limited on our equipment usage. For example, we cannot bring our flashes or a variety of lenses that we would use during a more-typical engagement photo shoot. So, we will only be able to use basic camera equipment. If you decide on a sunrise session, then we will be able to bring in more equipment.
***We cannot block any of the guests that are visiting Disneyland that day.
Many couples cannot get past some of these drawbacks and opt for other engagement locations. But, if you are a true Disney fan and a lover of the Mouse, then this can be a really fun place to have your Disneyland engagement photos taken.
