Some locations can be super crowded.  While a session at the beach, a popular park or Disneyland can be great, it may not be ideal for you.

WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION LOCATION:

discovering orange county engagement locations:

FULLERTON TRAIN STATION

Over time, we have photographed more and more in the urban areas of Orange County and throughout Southern California. Not sure what it is that attracts us to it. Perhaps it is the older areas with their decaying buildings that bring out so much photographic texture and personality. Back alleys, small businesses, all having their own unique features. Being in Orange County, we are spoiled by some of the most unique train stations around and every one of them makes for a great engagement photo location. Fullerton Train Station engagement photography by Three16 Photography will bring provide you with a lifetime of beautiful photos.

There are many train stations to choose from, so why Fullerton? The building is uniquely styled from the Spanish Colonial Revival era of the 1930’s. Decorative metalwork, along with amazing arches, windows and their Monterey-styled balcony is a true highlight of this location that will accentuate your photos.

The city had its first train depot back in 1888, but received that upgrade look in 1930 and stayed that way until a modern update took place in 1993. In addition to the building itself, there is a bridge that crosses over the tracks that can be utilized in our photos to give you incredible backgrounds of the trains and the tracks themselves. If you want a lot of activity in your photos, the best time to schedule your engagement session would be early in the morning or late in the afternoon when “rush hour” is in play. However, if you want some really different photos, we can do an evening shoot as the station is lit up at night.

If time permits, there are plenty of other things to incorporate into your session as well. A hop, skip and a jump to the east and we will come across the Fullerton Train Museum. Or we can start our journey in one of the more unique downtown areas in the southland. Downtown Fullerton is home to many shops and plenty of places to enjoy a meal together. Engagement photos at the various eateries also makes for fun photography.

So, if you are looking for something really different and unique, then consider the Fullerton Train Station, and its surroundings areas.
