HEISLER PARK
You have probably heard the names of many of the better-known parks and beaches along the Orange County coast. But if you are looking for that special location that isn’t quite as known for your engagement photo session, Heisler Park in Laguna Beach might be exactly what you are looking for. This beautiful venue offers a lot of greenery with their perfectly groomed gardens, as well as their amazing palm trees, all of which would make for great photo backdrops. A Heisler Park Laguna Beach Engagement Photography session by Three16 Photography will make for beautiful photos that will last a lifetime.
Heisler Park is a large oceanfront park that stretches along both the coastline as well as the bluffs, and it overlooks the Pacific Ocean. This location includes many amenities that we can incorporate into your photo session, such as walking trails, a marine refuge that includes tide pools, beautiful garden areas, Monument Point and an amazing gazebo with the ocean in the background. Many weddings take place at this very gazebo.
One of the great aspects about Heisler Park is that after photographing up in the park-like area, we can walk down one of the beach access routes and continue taking photos on the beach.
To get to your Heisler Park engagement photography session, the park is located along Cliff Drive between Diver’s Cove and Aster Street, where after the session, you can enjoy a meal at Las Brisas on Coast Highway or just off Aster Street or one of many other locations nearby.
Something to consider when choosing this location, Heisler Park does require a permit. The permit allows you to have your session any day of the year and any time of the day, with the exception of June 15 thru Labor Day. Between those dates, only certain times of the day will you be able to have your photo session.
Otherwise, Heisler Park is the perfect location for your photo session and one of our favorite locations as well.
