Your outfit should reflect you personality.  Maybe you want to dress for an adventure or maybe you want to go formal.  Consider how your attire can fit with your session location.

Some locations can be super crowded.  While a session at the beach, a popular park or Disneyland can be great, it may not be ideal for you.

Do you love nature?  Did you go to a fair on your first date?  While a beautiful garden might be fun for some, maybe it isn't the perfect location for you.

WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION LOCATION:

discovering southern california engagement locations:

Palm desert

As much as we love photographing engagement sessions in Orange County or Los Angeles, it’s a real thrill to get an opportunity to venture to other parts of Southern California and capture amazing photos of our wonderful clients in locations that are often different than where we usually shoot. One of the areas we don’t get to venture out too often, but when we have it’s been a real joy, is Palm Desert out in Riverside County. Beautiful memories by a Palm Desert Engagement Photographer. The team at Three16 Photography will provide you photos that last a lifetime.

Located about 15 miles southeast of Palm Springs, Palm Desert is part of the Coachella Valley and is home to so many unique things to do or see. Depending on what you and your fiancé are into, we can incorporate several aspects into your engagement photo session. Is a street fair your kind of thing? Then we can make our way to The College of the Desert where they host a street fair every weekend during peak seasons. Love to dance? The Nest would be ideal. Or perhaps you’re into golf (there are plenty of courses in Palm Desert) or tennis (Indian Wells is just next door). And if you’re into shopping, Palm Desert has its share of great shopping experiences.

In addition to these ideas, Palm Desert has their share of rustic areas such as the desert and that forest-like feel in the local mountains with trails, tall trees and a lake with boat docks. All make for great backdrops to your photos and brings out so much ambiance in the settings.

If time permits to include a second location, we could venture to either Indian Wells, Coachella (home to the Coachella Music Festival) or to Palm Springs, where there are many other things to incorporate into your photo session.

Please note that due to distance, we do charge an additional fee. So again, if you are looking for that amazing location while getting out of town, then take into consideration Palm Desert for your engagement photo session.
