One of the best and most interesting city halls that we have seen is the Pasadena City Hall located in the city of Pasadena; hands down. Pasadena City Hall Engagement Photos by Three16 Photography will add some unique architecture to your engagement photos.

The building has some really unique architecture that will bring out so much character to your photos that it will make your photos just pop. The city hall also has an awesome courtyard and water fountain. The courtyard itself is great to look at with that old, classical look to it and then to walk around it with all the details in the building, it really becomes a photographer’s dream. This entire location will truly give the background to your photos the personality that many other locations do not have.

Whether we are inside or outside the facility, there is just so much we can include. Inside they have some really beautiful stairways and hallways that make for great backdrops.

If we venture away from city hall, there is an old church across the street, All Saints Episcopal Church, that is a really awesome church. It almost has that medieval era look to it. From there we can venture down the street where we will have the Pasadena Courthouse and The Westin Pasadena Hotel. Both can bring their own uniqueness to your photography session. One more block over and we will find the Pasadena Police Department.

The city hall is easy to access and always has parking available. There is a fee for parking however.

The biggest drawback with photographing Pasadena City Hall engagement photos is that we will encounter a lot of people traffic there as it can get well populated. Photographers love shooting engagement sessions and other forms of photography here so having people around, and possibly in the background of some of your shots, could happen. We really recommend having your photo session during the weekdays as the weekends we will encounter weddings and wedding photography in the courtyard.

So, if you are looking for a place that has some really cool photographic opportunities for your engagement photo session, then you should consider the Pasadena City Hall. It’s unique and we strongly recommend it as there is no other place like it.
