One of our absolute favorite wedding venues in all of Southern California is the Avenue of the Arts Hotel. Avenue of the Arts breaks beyond the typical hotel experience. They celebrate the very best in human expression, which makes it the ideal space to be the very best expression of yourselves. With its art-inspired design, this is an ideal location to bring creativity and style to your ceremony. Being an Orange County Professional Photographer, I get excited about photographing here. But what I get more excited about is working with awesome couples, such is the case with May and Allan Lin.
May and Allan had their wedding at the Avenue of the Arts Hotel, which is located in the Theater and Arts District of Costa Mesa in Orange County, California, and is not your typical hotel experience. This unique and eclectic arts-inspired wedding venue was a stunning and glamorous spot for May and Allan to say their “I do’s.” The hotel’s modern, yet traditional, character was just what this couple wanted for their wedding day. Their outdoor lakeside ceremony site, set beside towering palm trees and an array of twinkling fountains, was decorated with elegant white and purple floral arrangements and a long “white carpet” aisle.
The beautiful bride, May, was glowing in a layered sweetheart tulle gown with a detailed sparkling waistline. Her make-up was on-point and her hair was curled elegantly and adorned with a long flowing veil. She completed her look with a diamond necklace, dainty headband, and a full bouquet of white and lavender-colored flowers. As she walked down the aisle, her handsome groom awaited her patiently alongside the rest of the bridal party. Allan was dressed to perfection in a rich navy-blue suit with black satin details, a black tie, and white pocket square, and shining black shoes. His groomsmen matched with him in all navy suits with blush-colored ties. The gorgeous bridesmaids were dressed in matching light pink Grecian gowns and held bouquets of white roses and baby’s breath.
This Southern California summer wedding celebration continued indoors at the hotel’s elegant grand ballroom. Complete with dazzling chandeliers and creative architectural details, it was the perfect setting to keep the party going! DJs provided the music for the evening while guests danced the night away and enjoyed the food from the catering team at Avenue of The Arts. The incredible towering gold-painted cake was a sweet treat for all to enjoy!
