Recently we had the great honor of being a part of Taylor & Petra Petrich’s beautiful wedding day at the Bella Gardens Estate in Murrieta. As photographers from Orange County, we always love the opportunity to break away from the traffic, Disneyland, and the regular spots so it was great getting to see the wonderful features the Bella Gardens Estate had to offer such a special couple. Though I haven’t known Taylor and Petra for long, I can tell you they are incredibly kind people that are worth getting to know. Petra heard about Three16 Photography after we did a bridal shoot with her sister-in-law Carla last year (Check it out!) and I’m so glad she reached out to us!

As an Orange County wedding photographer, I don’t always get the opportunity to spend a lot of time with my couples but not too long ago Taylor & Petra drove up to Big Bear with us for their engagement session (You can see it here). During the drive up the mountain, we were able to hear firsthand how these two met and how their first date never truly ended. In life, you will often meet great people you want to surround yourself with but it’s rare to find someone so special that you truly lose track of time. Well, this was the case for these two, as their first date started off as a casual afternoon out with friends and ended with just Taylor & Petra watching the sunrise together at the beach. In spending one afternoon with Taylor & Petra I learned three great things about them.

First, they truly fit perfectly together. They are both kind and sweet but they know how to make each other laugh uncontrollably which is what really matters in life. Second, they really care about other people. I know this is said often about friends but no seriously Taylor & Petra really care about those around them. After all, this likely explains why they had a wedding party of 26 (Our biggest wedding party yet!). As I met their wedding party I realized that Taylor & Petra are the types of people that don’t just make friends but they take the time to invest in the lives of people. Thirdly they quickly became a team and a family. Those of you that know Taylor know he has an adorable little girl. On the wedding day, it was so evident that Petra already has a deep love and care for this little one. Though I wish I could always say this, sometimes it’s not always true but with Taylor & Petra they have shared their life story with each other, the good and the bad and as they move forward it’s clear that they already see each other as a team. With all that said, I would love to share some sneak peeks with you from this beautiful Bella Gardens Estate wedding.
