For those who are looking to have their Engagement Photo Session done at a local park that does not offer a lot of fanfare, then you might want to consider Hillcrest Park in the City of Fullerton within the downtown area. This is a great little park that is pretty typical of most parks, but it does have just enough to offer a bit of uniqueness as well. Hillcrest Park Engagement Photos in Fullerton by Three16 Photography will add some truly beautiful nature to your engagement photos.

If you are not familiar with Hillcrest Park, they have a very unique stone staircase that can give your photos a sense of the old days when most buildings were built with stone versus modern building materials. Many of the clients that we have shot photography with at Hillcrest has really liked the steps and the unique features they offer in their photos.

In addition to the stairs, the Recreational Center Building is a little different than the typical Rec Centers at most parks. Their center has that look and feel to it that makes you feel that you are at Mission San Juan Capistrano, and again that makes for some really amazing photos.

Also new for 2018 is the recent completion of the water fountain project, which combined with new lighting, really makes this a romantic spot at the park for your photos.

Other than that, Hillcrest Park is your typical park with plenty of green grass and is easy to find. It doesn’t get too crowded on the weekdays, but the weekends you can often find a few weddings going on, which makes the park more crowded and will leave your photos with people in the background.

Something to consider when doing a Hillcrest Park engagement photo session is the possibility of adding another location as well. The Brea Dam Park is about a mile north from Hillcrest and that will give you more options to consider.
