Orange County Wedding Photographer
Who would have thought back in 2019 when we met up at Table Rock Beach to photograph Joseph and Jessica’s engagement session that 2020 would go the way it would? No one, but it did. As you can imagine, being an Orange County wedding photographer during this crazy year, we have seen so many couples fight uphill battles while planning their weddings. Some had to reduce the guest list quite a bit, some had to either change their wedding venue or hold them in their backyards, and some had to either reschedule their dates or they postponed their weddings altogether. Unfortunately for Jessica and Joseph, moving their wedding to a private residence in lieu of their original venue, The Red Horse Barn in Huntington Beach, is exactly what they had to do as they tied the knot on August 22nd. A venue is just that, a venue. But you know that even though it wasn’t at a fancy wedding venue, these two wonderful people put together a beautiful ceremony despite all they were up against. It wasn’t about the location; it was about their love for each other and from those around them.
We would really like to thank Jessica and Joseph for allowing us to not only be part of their engagement session last year, but to be part of their special day this year by allowing the team at Three16 Photography to capture all the details of this beautiful, “lower-key” wedding.
What started out as a first date, a double date at that, at Sushi On Fire in Huntington Beach, to a surprise proposal at a resort in Belize, to finally becoming one despite the pandemic, it has been an amazing ride for these two awesome people.
