Working as Southern California Professional Photographers, we are truly blessed to work in an industry that allows us to photograph so many beautiful places, as well as wedding venues. But as great as that is, we feel that getting to meet and work with so many wonderful people is what brings us satisfaction. Regardless if we are photographing an engagement session, a wedding, various stages of family life, or any combination of those, each one of them has been a real blessing to work with. And what about their stories? We love them! Learning how they met, how they became interested in each other, their first date, and of course, the proposal is fascinating. Speaking of wonderful couples, we recently had the honor of photographing the wedding of David and Dani down at Peltzer Winery.
Located among the Temecula Wineries, the Peltzer Winery was the perfect location for their dream country wedding. Surrounded by the rolling hills of vineyards, Peltzer offers both outdoor and indoor sites for your ceremony and reception. It’s definitely a venue that combines the beauty of the rustic feel with its winery and was the perfect wedding venue choice for Dani and David.
With her hair and makeup by Sandra Michelle Artistry on point, Dani was dressed in a lovely wedding gown from Love and Lace as she walked up the aisle to her groom-in-waiting, David. David looked just as dapper in his navy-blue suit from the Men’s Wearhouse. The groomsmen joined David in wearing navy-blue suits as well as maroon-colored ties to match the dresses of the bridesmaids. All in all, everyone looked stunning. The facilities were beautifully decorated and the floral arrangements by Posies and Petals really accentuated the ambiance that Dani and David were going for.
Of course, no party is complete without the great sounds from the DJ team at 1024 Productions. They kept the party going all evening long. The reception was capped off by this amazing wedding cake that was created by The Kilted Cake.

Dani and David’s Love Story
How did you both meet and who liked who first?
David liked Dani first. We met because David was a bartender and Dani would come in and visit him with her best friend Tamiko.
Tell us about your first date. Who was more nervous and what did you guys do?
We went to an Angel game. Neither one of us was nervous at all. We were good friends already, so it was very stress-free.
What’s the proposal story? Give us all the details and tell us, who cried first?
David planned a whole weekend couples trip with his best friend/Cousin Louis and his wife. The plans for the weekend consisted of dueling pianos and a nice dinner boat cruise the following evening. Dueling pianos was a blast on Friday night! David and I stayed up late just talking and laughing (and maybe moonwalking in the hallway of the hotel). The next evening was the dinner boat cruise. We all got dressed up and boarded the cruise ship. Dinner was amazing and the lights on the boat were magical. After dinner, we all decided to explore the ship a little and walked up to the top deck. The top deck had market lights strung up to make a beautiful canopy above us. We do what every couple would do in this situation…TAKE PICTURES! We took Louis and Lina’s pictures first and then hopped up on this little stage to take our pictures. It was in this moment that David held my hand and looked into my eyes. My heart stopped. He said so many beautiful things and looking back on the moment it is all a blur. He got down on one knee and asked me to be his and through my tears of joy I said, “yes!”
As you approach the wedding day, what have you both enjoyed most about the wedding planning process?
We enjoyed going to the different venues and finding different vendors
What has been the hardest part about planning your wedding?
Waiting to get married. We’re so ready!
Why did you choose your particular wedding and reception venue?
It was exactly what we needed. The decor is spot on. The old rustic feel is what we were looking for. And the place just looks beautiful.
Where did you draw some of your inspiration from for your wedding day?
Pinterest and old rustic photos.
Where are you going for the honeymoon and why did you choose that destination?
Not too sure yet, but looking at somewhere in the Caribbean.
