Established in 1906, Los Rios Rancho is a beautiful little community tucked away in Southern California that offers a simpler farmer’s lifestyle. It shares the property with the Oak Glen Preserve in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains. So, if you went Los Rios Rancho, parking for the Preserve is to the right of the centralized shopping area you will see when you pull into the parking lot and Los Rio Rancho is better served to the left.

There is no bad time of the year to have your photos taken there, but the fall season is something truly special up there. Oak Glen may be the only true location in Southern California that shows off that true fall colors that makes locals feel like we have real seasons here similar to those living back east. Los Rios Rancho has a really nice pumpkin patch that would make for a really great background to your engagement photos, as well as a country store, a hay ride, a petting zoo, great desserts and awesome BBQ lunches. If the weather is cold, then they have an open fire pit for all to enjoy.

This truly is an awesome location to shoot your Los Rios Rancho engagement photos with the many types of country living backgrounds which would bring so much character to your photos. Once you’re there, you will see why we love shooting photography in that area.

There are other areas in the Oak Glen area to consider for multiple locations such as the Preserve next door, Riley’s Farm and Apple Picking just down the street or if we go down the street a little more for the Oak Tree Village, where there is a lot to see and do there.

This is truly a great location for a daytime date and your engagement photo session. So, if you are looking for something outdoors and unique, Los Rios Rancho would be a perfect location for your engagement photo session, and it’s pet friendly too. One item to note, there is a small travel fee added to your package, but the fun you will have will be worth the fee.
