Some locations can be super crowded. While a session at the beach, a popular park or Disneyland can be great, it may not be ideal for you.

Do you love nature? Did you go to a fair on your first date? While a beautiful garden might be fun for some, maybe it isn't the perfect location for you.

As seasons shift so does temperature, sunset times, foliage and crowds. Not all locations are a great choice year round.

If you are considering a park location for your choice to hold your engagement photo session at and you are waffling between a standard park with playgrounds and such versus an all-nature location, why not a little of both? If that sounds right up your alley, then you might want to consider the William R. Mason Regional Park, where the best of both worlds collides together. Engagement Photos by Three16 Photography at the William R Mason Regional Park in Irvine is a great location to shoot your session and lasting memories.
William R. Mason sits on 339 acres of pure beauty which means that with nearly every turn we take, we will have some terrific backdrops to your photos. This location as so much to offer that can be incorporated into your shots as well. First of all, it has all they aspects of a typical community park, such as athletic fields, playgrounds for kids (or your Groom to be), lots of open green grass, an amphitheater, a gazebo and horseshoe pits.
In addition, this park also offers various trails that we can take. They have equestrian trails, bike paths and of course, good old fashion walking trails. As we leave the “community” side of the park and head down a trail, we’ll enter a more naturesque regional park atmosphere. They have a 9-acre lake that has some waterfowl in it and a pretty nice bridge where we stop and take pictures on, a lot of shade trees along the path. In fact, as you explore this part of the park, you almost get the feeling that you are walking along the wetlands.
If time permits where we can include an additional location, we can consider the nearby Strawberry Farms Golf Course, the campus of UC Irvine, or any other spot of your choosing.
