Although we are centrally located in Orange County, we have shot many weddings in the LA County, Inland Empire and San Diego Counties as well. But once in a while we get an opportunity to photograph a wedding a little further out. We’ve shot a wedding in San Francisco, up in Washington state, outside of Portland, Oregon, and others. And now we can include Bakersfield. Andrew & Stephany’s Noriega House Estate Wedding Photos in Bakersfield by Three16 Photography provides photos that last a lifetime.
The Noriega House is a historical venue with beautiful gardenesque scenery. Built in 1900, these 4,400 square feet of space gives you the option of having your ceremony in the Noriega Garden or the Noriega Chapel. The interior still has that vintage look and feel to it from its historical time period. It really is a charming wedding venue.

Stephany and Andrew’s wedding were a blend of two cultures, Chinese and Filipino. One of the really great moments in their wedding ceremony and reception was how they incorporated a Chinese tea ceremony with a jewelry exchange and Filipino coin exchange to honor both their family cultures.
Stephany looked stunning thanks to the Golden Glow Beauty who did a beautiful job with her hair and makeup. Both Stephany and Andrew wore red for their ceremony as red is traditionally the primary color in weddings. Roses and peonies were chosen in the colors of red and cream, while all the pretty floral arrangements was done by the team at Bloom. The party continued on after the ceremony thanks to the great sounds of The Social Vibe DJ’s, the food by the Noriega House and the beautifully decorated white wedding cake made by the Ghila Dolci Bakery.

Andrew is Charming. Chosen because clumsy in a cute way.
Stephany is Kind. Chosen because she has a very giving heart.
Any advice for other newly engaged couples as they begin to plan their wedding?
Keep it small because the costs will add up very quickly.
Describe your wedding for us. Is there a particular theme? What flowers did you choose and why? And are there any special traditions or items you have incorporated into the day?
Our wedding will be a modern western Christian-inspired wedding with traditional Chinese and Filipino elements. Roses and peonies were chosen in the colors of red and cream. Red was chosen as the primary color because it is traditionally the primary color in weddings. A Chinese tea ceremony with a jewelry exchange and Filipino coin exchange are being incorporated.
Looking back on planning your wedding, is there anything you would have done differently?
We wish we started planning sooner.
What’s the plans for the honeymoon?
Going to Hawaii when it is safe.
