Helpful Tips

Being a Professional Photographer here in Southern California, I love all the different styles of wedding venues and engagement locations that this part of the state has to offer. What makes it even better is meeting and getting to know all the different couples we meet. Whether it’s to photograph their engagement session, their wedding, various stages of their family life, or any combination of any of those, each one of them is truly great to work with. But perhaps our favorite part is to hear their stories. This is especially true for Brian and Ally. An honest to God love at first sight story, especially from Ally. They are a truly wonderful couple that we had the pleasure of photographing their wedding here in Murrieta.

The Bella Gardens Estates sits on five acres of one-of-a-kind private residency. It is ideal for that classic wedding ceremony. With its great location near the vicinity of Temecula Valley within Riverside County, combines the historic elegance of stone-themed buildings and rustic wooden structures with modern facilities. A Harmony Estate Wedding in Murrieta makes for a beautiful wedding location.

The lush flowerbeds, manicured grounds, beautiful ponds and a sparkling waterfall embellishes the beauty of this location that is set to create memories that last a lifetime. Bella Gardens Estate creates that flexibility to be able to customize this venue for your ideal wedding. With the ability to bring in your favorite vendors, this place is where your love story takes the next step.

Ally and Brian chose this venue because they loved it immediately. Bella Gardens Estates had the rustic feel they were looking for and having a house to stay in with their bridal party was the icing on the cake. Plus, they were excited to dance in the barn and swim in the pool.

These two know what’s right when they see it, and that’s how it was after seeing the Bella Gardens Estates. After all, this isn’t the first time a first look had this much meaning. Brian and Ally first met at a party. Ally walked through the door turned to her friend and said, “I’m gonna marry that guy” (pointing to Brian). Ally instantly liked Brian, and Brian thought Ally was cute. The rest is history.

All of the details of this amazing wedding were captured by the team at Three16 Photography.

We would really like to thank Ally and Brian for allowing Three16 Photography to be part of your special day. We wish you many years of love and happiness.

Check out their love story. We hope you enjoy it, and their photos, as much as we do.

Ally and Brian’s Love Story

Tell us about your first date. Who was more nervous and what did you guys do?

We mostly hung out with groups of people the first month of getting to know each other. We’d sneak off for alone time. 🙂  Our first official date was in September, months later. We crammed a bunch of things into one day. Starting in Venice Beach to walk around and people watch, then going to Boomers for a round of mini golf and finishing the night at BJ’s Brewery for a nice dinner. Neither of us were nervous. We were instantly comfortable with one another and excited to have a day of alone time.

What’s the proposal story? Give us all the details and tell us, who cried first?

Brian left work early to set up hundreds of rose petals into a heart shape in our apartment. Inside the heart, he spelled “Say Yes” in candles. When Ally got home, she opened the door to the lights off, candles burning and Brian standing there in a button down and slacks. Lanco’s song, “Love Story” was playing in the background. Ally read the candles and started crying immediately. She said “yes” in response to the candles before Brian even started talking. Brian could hardly get any words out and started crying himself. Brian got down on one knee and popped the question. After LOTS of tears, we went to Benihana’s for dinner and when we got back to our apartment both sets of our parents were there with champagne to celebrate. 🙂

As you approach the wedding day, what have you both enjoyed most about the wedding planning process?

Brian says, “cake tasting and planning the honeymoon.” Ally says, “finding our venue.”

What has been the hardest part about planning your wedding?

Trying to take it all in and enjoy the process. It’s going by too fast!

Where did you draw some of your inspiration from for your wedding day?

Most of our inspiration came from Pinterest and attending friend’s and family’s weddings over the past couple years.

Where are you going for the honeymoon and why did you choose that destination?

Cancun, Mexico!! We are so excited to hop on the plane and lay on the beach for a whole week as husband and wife. We chose it because we didn’t want to spend too much time traveling to get somewhere, and Cancun is beautiful. Plus, it’s all-inclusive. Can’t beat that.

One of the things that we lost during the pandemic is togetherness.
