Casa Bonita Wedding Photography in Downtown Fullerton California | Jacob & Angel
I definitely believe that some of the greatest love stories develop from two people being friends first. That’s exactly how Angel and Jacob’s story starts. Angel had attended the same church her entire life, and one day while they were in high school, Jacob was invited to bible study by a friend. Neither Jacob nor Angel were interested in the other as anything more than a friend at first. But as they continued to see each other consistently in those group settings, they developed a deeper friendship. Then one day they decided to see if they could ever move past the friend zone with each other. Although their first date wasn’t alone (Angel’s brother Seth tagged along to a hockey game), there were definitely sparks flying. The rest is history!
Years later, they’ve now made it a tradition to go to San Diego for the motorcycle races at Petco Park. During the day they always explore the city together and adventure to different places. Since Coronado Island is a place they frequent when they’re in San Diego, Jacob took advantage of the tradition and planned the proposal to be on Coronado Island with Downtown San Diego in the background. While standing for a photo in front of the cityscape, Jacob distracted Angel by pointing to a dog so he could grab the ring from his brother, and got down on one knee. When Angel turned around, she knew right away what he was doing. He proposed, and she of course said yes!
Jacob and Angel’s Romantic Casa Bonita Wedding in Downtown Fullerton was a stunning celebration of love! From the perfect outdoor ceremony space, to the gorgeous white and red bouquets from Events by Milan, and Angel and Jacob’s amazing style- everything was so easy to capture for this Orange County Wedding Photographer!
To start things off, Angel was an absolutely radiant bride. Artistry by A. Marie styled her hair into a perfectly curled ‘do. I mean seriously, Angel looks like she could be in a hair commercial! Not only was her hair flawless, but her makeup by Makeup By ITSADA, and stunning gown from Pebbles Bridal contributed to this bride glowing from the inside out!
Our team at Three16 Photography loved the classy, rustic and romantic look of this wedding represented with deep reds and classic white and black. Casa Bonita has a beautiful rustic vibe complete with wooden pallet walls and string lights, and it was a beautiful backdrop for their wedding.
Obviously wedding day isn’t all about the venue or details- it’s about the love that two people share for one another. Not only were the details of Angel and Jacob’s wedding day beautiful, but most importantly, their love for one another is beautiful. We were honored to have the opportunity to capture their love on photo, and work alongside another amazing artist – Andrew from Scrap Media- who captured their story on video.
Thank you so much Angel and Jacob for having us! You guys hosted an amazing celebration! We wish you all the best, and we can’t wait to see all that God has planned for you two!
