I just got done shooting Shawn & Lisa’s wedding day at Hotel Maya in Long Beach and I couldn’t wait to share a few sneak peeks of their absolutely wonderful wedding day! I had the honor of meeting Lisa at a Premier Bridal Show in Orange County a while back and shortly thereafter Shawn & Lisa hired me to shoot their wedding. At first, Shawn seemed like someone that was super serious but I realized that around Lisa he had a goofy side that would come out. For those of you who know me, know I love to be around people who love to laugh. Well, I soon found out during Shawn & Lisa’s engagement session in Laguna Beach that they weren’t afraid at all to have a good laugh. Not only that, but they shared a little bit of their love story with me and over the past few months I have seen their love only grow stronger as they planned their wedding day at Hotel Maya.
Today was full of sweet smiles, surprises, laughter, and love. Lisa took the smallest details to heart and our team was honored to be entrusted to capturing the beauty of the day. Whether it was the moment before we did the first look, releasing doves into the air after their vows, or a full-on dance straight out of dancing with the stars; Shawn and Lisa’s day was wonderful and I can’t wait to share more with you.
