Orange County Professional Photographer
As an Orange County Professional Photographer, I just adore the couples we meet, whether it’s to photograph their engagement session, their wedding, various stages of their family life, or any combination of those, each one of them is truly great to work with. But perhaps our favorite part is to hear their stories. This is especially true for Tatiana and Bryan. A truly wonderful couple that we had the pleasure of photographing their Los Coyotes Country Club wedding here in Orange County.
Tatiana and Bryan’s beautiful Los Coyotes Country Club wedding was a gorgeous celebration of their love story with their closest friends and family. Imagine if you will, you are standing at the altar, it’s your big day and behind you is lush green grass, palm trees, and a beautiful lake. It’s perfect and that’s what you will get with your wedding day at the Los Coyotes Country Club. A Los Coyotes Country Club Wedding in Buena Park makes for a beautiful wedding location.
Bryan and Tatiana were co-workers at a school when Bryan invited Tatiana to see a play with him. Tatiana thought it was a group event and invited all of their work friends. Fortunately for Bryan, no one else showed up. Even though it was a not-so-great first date on Tatiana’s end (she drove away as fast as she could after Bryan told her he liked her!), things went uphill from there and they dated for five whole years before Bryan popped the question!
On their wedding day, Tatiana was dressed in a stunning lace gown with a blooming bouquet of white, pale pinks, and greens. The gray, gold, and pale pink color palette – which we absolutely love! – was represented through various details like the pale pink bridesmaid’s gowns, gray suits, and perfectly placed table decor.
Los Coyotes’ lush green outdoor ceremony space was the perfect backdrop for these two to say, “I do!” With towering palm trees lining a garden of white roses, it made for gorgeous photos from Three16 Photography. It was such a beautiful ceremony, especially when this dazzling bride walked down the aisle; it was oh-so-dreamy and romantic!
After they exchanged vows, the party moved inside to celebrate these newlyweds! They had a simple, yet elegant wedding cake and the DJs at Honored Occasions had everyone on the dance floor! All of the details of this beautiful wedding came together perfectly, and all of the details of this country club wedding were captured by the team at Three16 Photography.
We would really like to thank Tatiana and Bryan for allowing Three16 Photography to be part of your special day. We wish you many years of love and happiness.
Check out their love story. We hope you enjoy it, and their photos, as much as we do.
Tatiana and Bryan’s Love Story
How did you both meet and who liked who first?
We worked together at a school where he was a speech therapist in the class I worked in. He definitely liked me first; I had no clue. I thought we were just friends.
Tell us about your first date. Who was more nervous and what did you guys do?
I was tricked into a date by Bryan. He invited me to go to a play and I thought he was trying to organize a get-together with all of our group work friends. So, I invited everyone else. Fortunately for him, no one else showed up and so it was just the two of us. I was not feeling him. He is a picky eater and back then he was way worse. I had brought fruit, crackers, and hummus for us to share, but he didn’t eat anything. Anyone that knows me knows I love food, so I was not very impressed. I would have to say he was more nervous. But then he turned the tables on me at the end when he finally told me that he liked me a lot and all I could say was “thank you, I don’t know what else to say” and then I drove off as fast as possible, literally.
What’s the proposal story? Give us all the details and tell us, who cried first?
There were no tears. We were celebrating our five years of officially being together at dinner. Everything was going nice and I had no idea. We finished eating and left. I was super cold because I thought I’d dress for looks instead of comfort. So, I just really wanted to go home, but he said let’s go for a walk. I still wanted to go home. So, he suggested we go get hot chocolate at Starbucks and he gave me his jacket. I put on his big jacket and immediately I feel something on the inside jacket pocket and ask what it was. He freaked out and said it was nothing and right there I pretty much figured it out and played along so he wouldn’t be too disappointed.
So, we get the drink, walked to the center of the Orange Circle. I was still freezing and wanted to go home but we sat on a bench and he finally got on a half knee and while he held onto his Starbucks cup to keep warm since I high-jacked his jacket, he told me I could take the thing out of the pocket and he asked me to marry him. I was just surprised and kept saying “Really?” over and over. No tears, but I’m pretty sure I saw his eyes swell for a second.
As you approach the wedding day, what have you both enjoyed most about the wedding planning process?
It’s been a lot of stress. I think taking our engagement photos was really fun and then just realizing that in a month we’ll be married has been surprising, exciting, and scary.
What has been the hardest part about planning your wedding?
Keeping track of everything and following up on appointments. But I have a mom and sister that have been super on top of things, so that definitely helps.
Why did you choose your particular wedding and reception venue?
We just loved the space and the big windows. Also, it is close to home and we definitely wanted a place that would be central to almost everyone that was coming so that they were not stressing to get somewhere far on the day of.
Where did you draw some of your inspiration from for your wedding day?
No place in particular. We just went with the things that we like and made to incorporate them throughout so that they represent us but while trying to keep it a bit classy.
Where are you going for the honeymoon and why did you choose that destination?
We are not going right away, but the plan is Hawaii or somewhere tropical. Hawaii looks beautiful and I have never been. Bryan is a forever fan of Jurassic Park, so we figured it would be a place that would be a good fit for us both. But so long as we can be lazy the whole time together, we’ll be happy.
