As a Professional Photographers from Orange County, we just adore the couples we meet, whether it’s to photograph their engagement session, their wedding, various stages of their family life or any combination of those, each one of them are truly great to work with. But perhaps our favorite part is hearing all their great love stories. This is especially true for Arielle and Brandon. A truly wonderful couple that we had the pleasure of photographing their wedding at the Red Horse Barn here in Orange County.
Located at the Huntington Central Equestrian Center in Huntington Beach, the Red Horse Barn is a great choice for your ceremony and reception! Surrounded by trees, it offers a rustic décor, giving it a fun, country feel to the venue. We know what you’re thinking… a barn that’s located in a coastal surfing community? That’s right. The Red Horse Barn is home to 10 horses and the surrounding land offers some really fun photo opportunities. It’s no wonder why Arielle and Brandon chose this venue; it fits their lifestyle!
With its gorgeous outdoor ceremony and reception space, as well as the laid-back vibe the Red Horse Barn venue offers, it makes for the best intimate weddings. When Brandon and Arielle first saw the venue, they fell in love with the atmosphere and knew they wanted to have their wedding there. On a perfect fall day in Southern California, these two love birds tied the knot!
It was a beautiful celebration of their love, with amazing décor that was filled with gorgeous floral arrangements. Arielle, the lovely bride, was dressed in a stunning lace gown. Her up-do’ hairstyle was on point, as well as her make-up, as they really allowed to show off the gown. While Arielle got dolled up, her soon-to-be-husband got decked out in gray and black and was rocking some black vans!
After the amazing outdoor ceremony with the lush green backdrop, it was time to celebrate! And celebrate they did!
Brandon and Arielle have been together over a decade now, and their love for each other was so evident on their wedding day! Three16 Photography loved getting to capture their wedding celebration.

Arielle and Brandon’s Love Story
How did you both meet and who liked who first?
We met in high school and I think we both liked each other at the same time.
Tell us about your first date. Who was more nervous and what did you guys do?
When we re-connected, our first date was at the casino and I don’t think either one of us felt nervous, being around each other felt natural.
What’s the proposal story? Give us all the details and tell us, who cried first?
We were out in the desert with some friends and he wanted to go find a little pond around the condo to go fish in. It was 117 degrees out and he was begging me to go with him, I didn’t want to because of the heat, but I reluctantly got into the golf cart. He proposed at what we now refer to as Engagement Lake. Neither of us cried, just had the biggest smiles.
As you approach the wedding day, what have you both enjoyed most about the wedding planning process?
It’s all been enjoyable, but I think it’s been planning and the day where all of our family and friends get to come together to celebrate our love.
What has been the hardest part about planning your wedding?
There hasn’t really been to many hard parts.
Why did you choose your particular wedding and reception venue?
It suited our personalities. It’s a laid back venue and we are both very laid back.
Where did you draw some of your inspiration from for your wedding day?
Pinterest.
Where are you going for the honeymoon and why did you choose that destination?
We are going to Maui. We are so excited because we have been there once together when we were 18. So now we are going as a married couple 12 years later.
