Summit House Wedding | Harry & Zoey
Orange County Professional Photographer
Let’s get one thing straight, I love being an Orange County Professional Photographer. I love getting out there and finding the perfect shot for my clients, whether it be for a wedding, an engagement, family photos or any other of the services I offer. But to be perfectly honest, my favorite part of my job is truly meeting and working with the amazing couples that have come our way. That said, hearing their love stories is really what inspires me to do the best job I can for them. This was definitely the case for Harry and Zoey. A truly wonderful couple that we had the pleasure of photographing their wedding at the Summit House here in Orange County.
The Summit House Restaurant is located in the city of Fullerton and was built back in 1989. This hilltop manor gives you breathtaking panoramic views of Orange County and the San Bernardino mountains, which makes the Summit House one of Orange County’s Premier Wedding Ceremony and Reception Venues. This location is designed as a romantic English Manor that will give you a warm atmosphere that you are sure to love. It features carved high beam ceilings, fireplaces and floor to ceiling windows that emphasizes the welcoming environment for you and your guests. It also has special meaning for me personally as I used to work there back when I was first getting a feel for photography.
Zoey and Harry chose the Summit House as their wedding location simply because “it’s a lovely place.” And that it is! For the ceremony, Zoey looked stunning as she walked down the aisle to meet up with her groom to share their love and their “I do’s” in front of family and friends.
We would really like to thank Zoey and Harry for allowing Three16 Photography to be part of your special day. We wish you many years of love and happiness.
Check out their love story. We hope you enjoy it, and their photos, as much as we do.
Zoey and Harry’s Love Story
How did you both meet and who liked who first?
We met when she is a little girl. Zoey like me first.
What’s the proposal story? Give us all the details and tell us, who cried first?
It was at a steakhouse restaurant in Mission Hill. I called the restaurant and asked them to bring 12 flowers to Zoey one by one. On the 12th flower, I did the proposal. Zoey cried first.
As you approach the wedding day, what have you both enjoyed most about the wedding planning process?
The planning process that we enjoyed the most is to try out all the food at the venue.
What has been the hardest part about planning your wedding?
The hardest part is to plan out the schedule, how to decorate it, get all the vendors and the first dance.
Why did you choose your particular wedding and reception venue?
It is a lovely place.
Where did you draw some of your inspiration from for your wedding day?
I like rustic, small family style.
Where are you going for the honeymoon and why did you choose that destination?
We are going to honeymoon at Maldives. We are very excited and the reason why we pick Maldives is because it is a relaxing and beautiful place.
