I truly love what I do. As an Orange County Professional Photographer, I get to photograph, not only at some of the best wedding venues throughout Orange County and Southern California, but I get to meet and capture memories for so many amazing couples. Whether I’m shooting a wedding, the engagement session, or simply various stages of family life, I truly appreciate them all. But more than seeing those amazing smiles and feeling the emotions, it’s their stories that make it special. This was the case with Josh and Victoria. A truly wonderful couple that we had the honor of photographing their wedding at the Villa Del Sol in Fullerton.
Constructed in 1922 and dedicated by the city in 1923, the Villa Del Sol radiates that Spanish Villa feel to it and incorporates several businesses surrounding the courtyard. With the Villa Del Sol in the downtown area of Fullerton, it serves as a great location for engagement photography as well.
Victoria looked beautiful wearing a white lace gown from David’s Bridal, while her bridesmaids wore slightly darker shade of blue, known as Ink Blue, dresses from Azazie, as well as the flower girl. Her make-up and hair were beautifully done by OC Beauty by Elizabeth. Josh and his groomsmen all wore a more traditional suit from Men’s Wearhouse along with the same-colored Ink Blue ties to match the bridesmaids’ dresses. The food at the reception was on point and was provided by the Fullerton Brew Co. and the 3-tiered white cake and desserts were from Beverly’s Bakery.
The Villa Del Sol looked amazing with the floral arrangements by Flower Allie. For entertainment purposes, ADM Entertainment truly had the vibe going by playing guitar and his DJ sounds kept the evening going with special events and plenty of great dancing. In addition, Three16 Photography provided a photobooth and Miss Megans Studio did a live painting on canvas to commemorate the night. Of course, this amazing event was all coordinated by Mrs. G Events. And a special shout out to Josh, who performed and sang to Victoria a couple of songs as well.

Victoria and Josh’s Love Story
What three things do you admire most about your soon-to-be spouse, and why?
Victoria (about Josh): Sense of humor, the love he has for his friends, family and dogs, his passion and interests
Josh (about Victoria): Caring and nurturing instinct, creativity, knows how to have a good time
Describe each other in one word and why did you choose that word?
Victoria (about Josh): Genuine, for those who get to know Josh he is the most amazing person.
Josh (about Victoria): Inspiring, she achieves a lot and everyone notices her hard work.
Any advice for other newly engaged couples as they begin to plan their wedding? Always do what is best for you and your partner and don’t let other outside influences determine what your wedding is going to be. And work together as a team every step of the way.
Describe your wedding for us. Is there particular theme? What flowers did you choose and why? Are there any special traditions or items you have incorporated into the day?
Villa Del Sol is a historic venue with lots of greenery. We decided to extend the tropical greenery into our theme. Our wedding color is ink blue from Azazie, and we will have accents of gold. Wedding bouquets will include white and blue florals, while our tables will have tropical green leaves.
Josh will be playing two love songs that are special to both of us. We have a few special items, for example, a custom Funko Pop as we collected when we first were dating. Since our dogs can’t be at the wedding, they are dedicated at our candy “treat table.”
We will also be doing a CLU alumni photo which is a special college tradition.
Looking back on planning your wedding, is there anything you would have done differently?
Looking back, I think we would have focused less on trying to please everyone and more on what truly mattered to us. It was to get caught up in the pressure of making it ‘perfect’ for others, but in the end, the most meaningful parts were the ones that felt authentic to who we are.
What’s the plans for the honeymoon? During spring of 2026 we plan on going on a cruise. A dream cruise is to Vancouver Canada if time allows, but our back up would be the Catalina/Mexico cruise.
