This Sunday was special, not because football season started but because I got to leave Orange County and be a part of a very special wedding at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta. I’ve heard many great love stories begin at Calvary Chapel Bible College, so much so that it carries the nickname “bridal college” and it has said if you don’t get a ring by spring, you get your money back. All joking aside, this past Sunday was special because Jackson and Lizeth made the commitment to stand by each other, in good times and bad for the rest of their lives.

In the time I’ve known Jackson, I have seen a gentle grizzly bear that is both goofy and caring. Jackson met Lizeth while working in the kitchen at the bible college and he knew that there was something special about Lizeth. Eventually, he was able to win her heart over and the rest is history. Over the last several months I have had the joy of seeing both Jackson and Lizeth mature and grow in their relationship and their faith as they prepared for marriage. I think their wedding day was a beautiful sample of who they are. They decided they wanted to pray together but didn’t want to see each other prior to their ceremony. Then off to their ceremony, they were accompanied by 250 of their closest friends. Following the lovely ceremony given by their pastor, they were greeted by the swords of Jackson’s fellow Marines. Though a wedding calls for seriousness if you know Jackson & Lizeth you had to know something funny would happen and it sure did as these two lovebirds danced away to everything from the Macarena to Gangnam Style. Overall, what better place to get married than Calvary Chapel Bible College where they first met! Here is some sneak peeks of their wonderful wedding day!
