After first meeting in college, Garros invited Brissia to In-N-Out with him and his friends. Garros hadn’t told any of his friends that he was into Brissia yet, so when these two ordered fries to split, they all gasped in excitement! That day was the start of their love story, and these two have been falling more and more in love each day since!
Garros and Brissia chose the enchanting El Adobe de Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano, California as their wedding venue, which is just around the corner from the Mission! Brissia had always dreamed of having her wedding at Mission San Juan Capistrano, so she was so excited to get the opportunity to capture her wedding portraits there! Because of their love for Christmas time, they were inspired to use a winter wonderland theme when choosing their colors and decor for their special day! We love when couples make their day personal and specific to them. Your wedding day should be a collection of the things that you love- coming together to create a celebration of your love!
With the artfully restored historic venue, El Adobe de Capistrano, and a charming color theme of muted deep blue, white, burgundy, and grays, the backdrop to their perfect wedding day was set, all thanks to the wonderful coordinating and decor from Events by Cori!
Brissia was a dazzling bride in her gorgeous off-the-shoulder lace gown, with hair and makeup done by Addicted Salon. Once Brissia was all dolled up, it was time for the first look at none other than the Mission! Garros was so excited to finally see his soon-to-be bride. Dressed in a gray suit from Friar Tux, and finishing off his look with a plaid tie, he waited oh so patiently to embrace the love of his life. It was definitely an emotional first look, and there was no doubt a lot of laughter, smiles, and happy tears (and we may or may not have shed a tear from behind the camera, too)!
The outdoor cobblestone terrace at the historic El Adobe de Capistrano was the perfect setting for these two to tie the knot! In addition to the already charming ceremony venue, The Tangled Vine Designs provided a beautiful display of white and purple flowers to enhance the historic beauty of the altar. Once these two said their “I dos”, it was time to party!
The celebration continued indoors in the atrium-style reception space, which features a ceiling that opens completely to reveal the star-filled night sky. Talk about dancing with the stars! After they shared their first dance as husband and wife with music provided by DiJital Engagement, they shared a slice of their detailed wedding cake from Creative Cakes- which featured words that represent who they are as a couple and to each other. What a unique idea!
