Your outfit should reflect you personality.  Maybe you want to dress for an adventure or maybe you want to go formal.  Consider how your attire can fit with your session location.

Some locations can be super crowded.  While a session at the beach, a popular park or Disneyland can be great, it may not be ideal for you.

Do you love nature?  Did you go to a fair on your first date?  While a beautiful garden might be fun for some, maybe it isn't the perfect location for you.

WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION LOCATION:

discovering orange county engagement locations:

O'NEILL REGIONAL PARK

More and more couples that we have come across are leaning towards getting out into nature, therefore wanting to hold their engagement photo sessions at one of the many Orange County regional parks and preserves that the county has to offer. If you want nature that includes a view, hiking trails, and a lot of brush, then O’Neill Regional Park is one to consider. An O’Neill Regional Park engagement photography session in Trabuco Canyon by Three16 Photography will deliver you a lifetime of beautiful photos.

O’Neill Regional Park sits on 4,500 acres that is filled with sycamore trees and coast live oak. Other plant life includes sagebrush, cactus, buckthorn and wild buckwheat. The trails at this location equal 23 miles that is occupied by hikers, joggers, horseback riders and mountain bikers. Because O’Neill Regional Park is known for being a campground, it also has a playground, horseshoe pits, an amphitheater, butterfly garden and grassy turf areas too. And if we get a clear day, we can capture the beautiful overview of Trabuco Canyon itself. All of these opportunities would make for great backdrops to your engagement photos.

If time permits to include an additional location, we can go off the beaten trail a bit as Holy Jim Trail is about six miles away, or head to Red Rock Canyon or Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park. Or for something outside of hiking trails and are completely different, we can look into Rancho Las Lomas or Cook’s Corner.

You can learn more about O’Neill Regional Park as your engagement location by visiting ocparks.com/parks-trails/oneill-regional-park.
