When you tell someone, you’ll meet them at Laguna Beach, you might want to be very specific to the location itself. Why? Did you know that Laguna Beach is made up of 30 individual smaller beaches? True story. And every one of them has its own distinct personality which perfect for engagement photo sessions. One of the smaller and simpler beaches that we enjoy is Picnic Cove. Picnic Cove is actually connected to the more well-known Heisler Park, just northwest of it in fact. This beach doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles that the other beaches have, but it does have a beautiful shoreline and a few rocks to sit on. On the south end, Picnic Cove has small tide pools, while the northern end is rockier. Parking is fairly easy, especially in the mornings and it is an easy walk to the beach. But our favorite part about Picnic Cove are the sunsets. A sun setting at Picnic Cove is one of the more beautiful and romantic coastlines walks out there.

If time permits to include an additional location, we can consider Heisler Park, Main Beach Laguna, downtown Laguna or if you want to add nature, there is the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park and its variety of trails.
