A Rustic Wedding In The Heart Of Orange County
I love shooting engagement and wedding photography at the Red Horse Barn in Huntington Beach. It’s just a part of Orange County that takes you away from the buildings and business life and you get to go country. I cannot continue to thank Stephanie and Keith enough for giving me the honor to be their photographer for their special event. And to think, they found me via online searching!
They have such a loving form of sarcasm and fun nature about them that makes what we do all that much better and is a great reminder as to why we became wedding photographers in the first place. Stephanie and Keith’s Love Story
Q: What has been the hardest part about planning your wedding?
A: Being in another state has added a bit of a challenge. It meant booking things without meeting people, grouping all of our meetings when we were in town, and lots and lots of emails.
Q: Why did you choose your particular wedding and reception venue?
A: We chose, Ok Stephanie chose, The Red Horse Barn because of its rustic appearance. There are other venues in Southern California, but we decided that being in Orange County, in an area where we spent a lot of time together, was important and would allow his family to visit from out of state to see our stomping grounds.
Q: Where did you draw some of your inspiration from for your wedding day?
A: Stephanie spent the majority of her time on Pinterest and Etsy looking for inspiration. She wanted a rustic look with more of a chic and sophisticated spin on it. Keith was very supportive in his “Yes honey that looks perfect” responses.
Q: Where are you going for the honeymoon? Are you excited and why did you choose that destination?
A: We are going to Maui and are extremely excited. We chose Maui for a couple of reasons, the number one being we wanted to go somewhere we had never been. Another reason was we wanted to be able to relax and lay on a beach.
