One of the really cool parts of being an Orange County Professional Photographer is meeting all these wonderful couples and watching them interact with one another. Before their wedding, leading up to their wedding, and at the wedding ceremony and reception itself, we truly feel the love our couples have for one another, it’s so much fun to get to capture it all. This was especially true for Cortney and Kevin and their wedding at the Richard Nixon Library Wedding venue here in Orange County.
The Nixon Library is located in beautiful Yorba Linda, California, and is a one-of-a-kind wedding venue that blends elegance, tranquility, and rustic, along with a rich history to establish the perfect setting for your wedding day. It’s perfect for both ceremonies and receptions.
This venue is ideal for any large, lavish event or even a small, private affair. Along with the most beautiful garden called, “First Lady’s Rose Garden,” they have an extended reflecting pool with large pepper trees that makes for a gorgeous ceremony backdrop.
For the reception, it would be held in the East Room, which is the only replica of the White House East Room. It features three crystal chandeliers, golden Italian silk draperies, imported marble fireplaces, along with a wooden terrazzo floor for dancing into the night. It was the perfect location for Cortney and Kevin’s dream reception.
This beautiful couple’s elegant and traditional white, navy, and gray wedding at Orange County’s Nixon Library was a celebration to remember! Despite the roaring heat on this bright Southern California summer day, these two had an absolute blast celebrating becoming one!
The festivities began at San Antonio Catholic Church in Anaheim, California. With sunlight beaming through the bright sanctuary, it was easy to capture naturally lit photos of these two exchanging vows! Cortney wore a gorgeous flowing gown with a blooming white and blue bouquet. While Cortney walked down the aisle, Kevin awaited his soon-to-be bride in a navy suit. Their bridal party tied all of the colors together with deep gray suits and navy gowns. It made for a perfectly elegant and sophisticated color palette for a presidential wedding.
After the ceremony, it was finally time to party! The Richard Nixon Library is an absolutely stunning wedding venue and they have the perfect ballroom for a wedding reception which made it easy for Three16 Photography to capture all the fun through photography!
