At Three16 Photography, we love having the opportunity to photograph multiple life events for the same people! It gives us a chance to really connect and actually develop a friendship with our clients. Faith and James are one of those amazing couples that we’ve had the privilege of getting to photograph a couple of times. After getting engaged, we got to photograph their engagement, and now their beautiful wedding at San Juan Hills Golf Club in San Juan Capistrano! They are fun, sarcastic, and such a joy to be around!
Faith works in escrow, and James is a real estate agent. When they first began dating, James bought a pass to Disneyland because he knew how much Faith loved it, and that she was already a faithful Disney fan. After many dates at Disneyland, James eventually proposed at the park in March of 2018. After a 363-day engagement, they were ready to tie the knot!
Just outside of historic downtown, surrounded by the lush green rolling hills of San Juan Capistrano in Southern Orange County lies the San Juan Hills Golf Club. This rustic yet elegant wedding venue boasts breathtaking views and gorgeous outdoor ceremony sites!
The gentle melody of a waterfall played as Faith and James exchanged vows in front of the club’s sparkling pond and a rushing waterfall. Faith was dressed in a stunning detailed lace bridal gown by Philomena dress by Watters from The White Dress bridal boutique. Holding back tears while he awaited his bride, James wore a navy custom-made suit from TruTailor Company that was crafted just for him, just for the wedding!
Photographing this wedding gave us the amazing opportunity of working with some of our favorite vendors: Pink Daffodil, Events by Robin- Brandi, and Invisible Touch Events. Funny enough, Faith has actually known Brandi for years, and our owner Jerrick is good friends with Brandi. It also turns out that James sold a house to one of our clients getting married this summer. What a small world!
Every wedding has its fair share of fun. But with such a great couple, we knew there was bound to be a lot of fun happening throughout the day. As they walked up the aisle after the ceremony, James dipped Faith a little too far and they both fell down in the aisle. Oops! I guess you can definitely say they’ve fallen for each other. After the ceremony, when we stole the bride and groom away for some more portraits, James stole a golf cart for easier transportation for his beautiful bride around the golf course. Well, we ended up returning it, so I guess it was borrowed? (Just don’t tell the venue staff! Ha!) When it came time for dancing, Invisible Touch had everyone tearing up the dance floor!
This gorgeous rustic and elegant wedding was one for the books! We absolutely loved getting to capture the wedding photos for these lovely newlyweds, and provide the photo booth as well, for many lasting memories!
