Probably our favorite urban engagement location to shoot your session is in the Santa Ana Historic District, located in the heart of Santa Ana in Orange County. Its uniqueness is the perfect location for your urban setting engagement photo session. There are many great things about shooting engagement photography in this area. Starting out at the Art Walk District at the 4th Street and Main Street area is where our favorite parts are located as we love all the old school buildings with all the older, unique architecture. The details on the buildings will really enhance your photos and give it that vintage look of being back in time. In addition to the face of the buildings, we love to shoot photos from the rooftops of the parking garages and alleyways. The rooftop at the Spurgeon Venture allows us to have amazing aerial backgrounds to your photos, while the alleyways always photograph well. The Santa Ana District’s alleys are a little more in decay compared to some others, such as Old Towne Orange, but the personality is timeless.

Since we love walking around while shooting your photos, there are many other things in this area that will give your photos that urban look to them. There is the Art Walk area, great restaurants and the East Sports Arena. In addition, there are a few wedding venues within a small radius such as Estate on Second, Manhattan Event Center, as well as the Capilla Los Rosas Wedding Chapel. A great spot nearby for engagement photos is the Yost Theater.
